The current desolate environment around Dagenham Dock will become as ecologically friendly as possible. The Brook will be upgraded to encourage wildlife to thrive. There will be rich biodiversity planting as well as raised growing beds throughout the development. The new distinctive green spaces will include special wildlife corridors encouraging the return of flora, birds, insects and animals.

A new open shared space under the flyover will provide a positive sheltered play area in all weathers. It will have the potential to be used for many activities including football, basketball, skateboarding and other types of games. Most homes will have a view of these new generous green open spaces. All will be able to enjoy the transformation of this currently grey part of Dagenham into a vibrant green area.

The sustainable regeneration of this former industrial land will improve the health of local people, as the air will be cleaner, trees will be planted and the connecting routes will be transformed into a shared green space for residents and the local community alike.
